Air Conditioning Installation at Park View
decoration

One of our most recent projects, Park View, showcases our commitment to high-quality
workmanship and contemporary solutions. At Brompton Cross Construction, we specialise in
renovating properties to the highest standards. We collaborated with Be Cool to build a cutting-edge air conditioning
system as part of this renovation, incorporating the newest Daikin and Mitsubishi technologies.
This refurbishment project required a reliable, energy-efficient cooling system to match the
high standards of the apartment design. The result is a tailor-made solution that ensures comfort and
functionality throughout the space.

Mitsubishi VRF System: Cooling Multiple Zones

For this project, we installed a Mitsubishi mini VRF system featuring six indoor units to
provide precise climate control across various rooms. The Mitsubishi system was selected for its
efficiency and flexibility, making it the ideal solution for modern living spaces.
Here’s a breakdown of the indoor units installed in key areas of the apartment:
â—Ź Master Bedroom: Equipped with the powerful FDUT45KXE6F-W unit, offering 4.11 kW
of cooling to ensure comfort during warmer months.
â—Ź Bedroom 2: A FDUT22KXE6F-W unit, with a capacity of 2.01 kW, provides efficient
cooling for the second bedroom.
â—Ź Maid Room: The compact FDK15KXZE1-W unit, delivering 1.37 kW of cooling power.
â—Ź Kitchen: Fitted with a FDK22KXZE1-W unit, offering 2.01 kW of cooling to keep the
kitchen environment comfortable.
â—Ź Dining Room: Another FDUT22KXE6F-W unit ensures the dining area remains cool
and pleasant with 2.01 kW of capacity.
â—Ź Bedroom 1: Featuring a FDUT45KXE6F-W unit, similar to the master bedroom,
providing 4.11 kW of cooling.

The Daikin System: Cost-effective Cooling for Shared Areas

They added a Daikin air conditioning system with two indoor units to the living room to
supplement the Mitsubishi system. The most popular common room of the apartment is kept
comfortably cool all year round thanks to this system’s regulated cooling.

Ensuring Energy Efficiency and Compliance

A significant benefit of the Mitsubishi system is its high energy efficiency. The system is
powered by R32 refrigerant, an environmentally friendly solution that reduces the carbon
footprint without sacrificing cooling performance. The total cooling capacity for the flat is 15.62
kW, with no additional piping required, ensuring an optimised and seamless installation.
The system also meets EN 378-1:2016 and IEC 60335-2-40 European safety standards,
ensuring the installation is safe and compliant with all necessary regulations.
